Go here, now and watch trailer 2. This movie doesn’t look just passable, it looks good! My only complaint? I really don’t think the voice is right for Dr. Manhattan. I mean, a guy who has reassembled his atoms is going to have a deeper voice than Billy Crudup, right?

I was fortunate enough to see Milk today. It’s good. Everyone in it does a fantastic job, surprisingly so.
The only thing I didn’t like is that Gus Van Sant has a flair for the theatrical. He never wants you to forget you’re watching a movie, so sometimes there’s a bit too much surrealist effort on his part. It takes you back a bit and you feel slightly emotionally...

I had a brief stopover in Las Vegas on my way back to LA. On my first flight, there was a woman sitting near me who looked entirely too much like Laura Roslyn. On my second flight, a guy looked a little bit like Colonel Tigh. What the hell is going on?
