Reconstructive surgery
In the near future we’ll probably have the technology to enable auto-tune, except for video. Like, people on camera or on TV will have their facial aesthetics instantaneously “improved” to remove blemishes or stray hairs or wrinkles, freckles, bags under eyes, fixing it all in the blink of a perfect eye. Auto-tuned people on TV or computers (webcams with built-in auto-tune) looking and sounding perfect at all times. The uncanny valley will simply be bridged with real people until we can’t even tell the difference.
Eventually you will have to see someone in real life and will be horrified by their appearance, or worse, horrified by your own (note to future self: design mirrors with built in auto-tune. No delusion like self-delusion, am I right?!). People will date entirely over their computers and only meet for sex, which will have to happen in the dark, for obvious reasons.
Cosmetics sales will collapse, resulting in a global recession, which will leave the majority of people unable to afford updates for their video auto-tune devices. Unfortunately, with the cosmetics industry all but vanished, they will be forced to go without make-up.
As always, naturally attractive people will be unaffected by the change.
