Aaron hasn’t seen Prometheus yet so he wanted me to answer his most burning question about the movie and the Alien universe in general, which is “Have we perfected hat technology?”

It appears we have.  No matter how many years into the future we go, the trucker cap can never be improved upon.  We have, at humanity’s young age, already reached the pinnacle of dome coverings.  Above are Harry Dean Stanton from the original Alien and Idris Elba from Prometheus, both wearing the standard trucker cap for any interstellar blue collar worker.  Entirely recognizable to anyone from the 70s, 80s, 90s, and today.

Mastery of trucker cap design.  On the one hand, it’s a shining example of human ingenuity.  On the other hand, this sort of spells an inevitable doom for the future of the trucker cap industry, with or without Ashton Kutcher.

Below, a picture of Charlize Theron upon being told she just ate a moldy donut.
